This last Christmas, HopeRoad volunteers served breakfast to over 500 people in need of a hot meal and warm clothing. Some worked behind the scenes, collecting warm jackets, blankets, and socks. Others graciously volunteered their Christmas Eve to make hundreds of breakfast burritos for the following morning. Some supported our efforts financially, while others showed up on Christmas morning to bring love and hope to those who need it the most.
For those of us at HopeRoad, it’s our strongest desire to alleviate pain and suffering for others, and doing so with the utmost respect and dignity towards those we’re trying to serve.
We’re delighted to say that the number of volunteers wishing to help during the holidays has allowed our day of service to increase with each coming year. Check back in the next few weeks for more upcoming service projects like this one. What costs you a few hours on a Saturday morning leaves you knowing that you’ve lightened another’s load that day.
HopeRoad would like to extend our sincere thanks to Paragon Global Resources and Starbucks for their generous donations.
