Help Us Bring Change That Matters to Louisiana
In response to the recent flooding in Louisiana, HopeRoad is sending a team of volunteers to assist with the ongoing relief efforts there, and we need your help!
More than 60,000 houses have been damaged or destroyed, and at least 13 people have died. One third of all parishes (counties) in Louisiana are declared to be in a state of emergency.
Join HopeRoad as we partner with Samaritan’s Purse and The United Way in Lafayette, LA to bring relief to the victims of this devastating flood.
While we’re there, we’ll be participating in:
- Mudout and removal of debris in damaged homes
- Removal of flooring and other damaged structural items
- Disinfecting household items that can be saved
- Light construction projects
- Food distribution at local emergency shelters
No experience is necessary! The only requirements are very positive attitude and the willingness to work very hard for four days in unpleasant and dirty conditions.
